Adelphi Blended Scotch Whisky – Adelphi (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 40% Age: N/A Country: Scotland Adelphi exist to identify the very small number of casks that have produced the ultimate whiskies. The criteria for selection include rarity and maturity, but above all flavour. These whiskies are both rare and sought-after – these very special casks are so rare that, on average, Adelphi accepts a mere 4% that it is offered. Each single cask of whisky matures its contents very differently, imparting its own character to the whisky it holds and, as a result, there are never two Adelphi’s quite the same. Adelphi have released this blended whisky using a blend of grain and malt whisky which is kept in a solera system. We’re not given a clue as to where they source the whisky but we do know that they use whiskies from all over Scotland. Our Tasting Notes Nose: A combination of orchard fruits, dried dark fruits and salty smoky peaty spirit. Palate: Sea salt and toasted nuts, subtle dried fruits combines with some soft smoke. Finish: Long and delicious, bonfire smoke, salted and grilled orchard fruits.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
