Early Quaich’s were carved out of wood, modern Quaich’s are now made from pewter. With help from a local carpenter we have re-created the traditional Quaich as it would have been in it’s early days. The days of William Wallace and Robert The Bruce when it was used as a symbol of friendship and unity. This purchase includes a hand-crafted wooden Quaich which is one of a kind and it is gift wrapped in a presentation box.This particular Scottish Quaich is made from Tasmanian Oak and it is one of a kind. Hand turned by a local Australian craftsman from a single piece of Australian hardwood this Quaich has retained its fine detail and grain.
